About The Artwork
Sunshine and Dopamine is an abstract painting created Samuel’s visit to Prague in November 2021. Using his week as a time for restoration and recuperation, he took the time to enjoy the city and recharge his batteries. This painting is a reflection of the his state of mind, as well as the colour palette that he noticed throughout the cities architecture. Sunshine and Dopamine is a vivid composition that resembles nature in its abstract form, with its petal like motif’s across the surface and in its pink and green tones. Sunshine and Dopamine was created using acrylic paints and gel medium on a deep stretched cotton canvas that measures 40cm x 30cm x 3.5cm. The design is continued around the edges of the canvas creating a truly beautiful and completed artwork. Samuel has signed the back of the canvas.
