ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Super Love" is a mixed media resin painting. The mediums include acrylic, ink, spray paint, and wax monoprint on a wooden panel. It also has thread, colored cellophane, vintage high school sweetheart letter, vintage Spirograph, and a vintage braided gum wrapper. The painting was layered between the resin giving the appearance of some things floating...and some elements actually cast shadows. Signed on the front and signed and titled on the back. Measures 12" X 12" X 1". The board is only 3/4" deep but the resin adds an additional 1/4" or more. The resin has a high gloss glass like finish.

A BFA graduate of Wesleyan College, she has been a full-time artist for over 30 years, creating colorful, bold pieces that inspire and uplift. In late 2013, Wyanne (pronounced Y-Ann) was diagnosed with Stage IV head and neck cancer, undergoing surgery to remove her tongue and numerous lymph nodes. Despite the challenges, she relearned to speak and has been cancer-free for 10 years. Her survival journey transformed her art. Painting became her way of communicating and healing, capturing magic through color and energy.
