About The Artwork
Once I had a summer house with a spruce forest overlooking a pond. In my memory the reflection of the trees in the pond is vivid - I tried to portray the feeling of looking into the pond and seeing these magical trees. I hope the viewers will be entranced as I was and enjoy my memory. I used a palette knife for the ease of adding layers without having to wait for the oil paint to dry. The work is painted on the edges so it doesn't require a frame, unless the new owner wishes to add one, in which case I would suggest a black floater frame. It is wired for hanging.
