Inspired by the party scenes galore in urban cities,this painting conspires to show the inner nuances of the glitterati crowds, in a blue room full of the upper strata. It doesn't matter if you come in late, you will be welcomed at anytime, by a big 'hello'. That's why many guests indulge in party hopping too. There's a lot of gold highlights in this painting to bring out the essence of the subject. There is no facial features given as a party very often is a platform to making new friends.Hence the faceless crowd of the abstract work. The painting has both a movement and stillness around it, making it viewed as the mood makes you. The brush strokes are a very flowy kind,tapering away towards the bottom. As an artist, I love using vibrant colors. In India, this would be called a Page 3 party scene.

I am on Instagram with the hash tag = 9justanu9. You can see almost all my works there. Although a little bit cannot be said about me, I'll be brief. Different mediums allow me to express different ideas. Part of my process before I begin painting is to specifically plan the work I have to create on canvas. I try to breathe life into every canvas with a story and meaning. I'm fascinated with the various phenomenon surrounding us always, environmental and people's nuances. I took a sabbatical from 2D artwork when I got married, still creating other stuff. But in 2008,the Mumbai Terror Strike affected me corely and I picked up the brush to tell the story. Being a passionate artist, I restarted on my souls calling and never looked back. I believe that Art is the mind-game of my soul. I am the master of my own ship of art. I'm the captain of my soul, and art will dictate the course, seal me a spot in my everlasting legacy of art. This is my opportunity to leave an everlasting impression.
