Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Wood.

This is obviously a take on Munch's 'The Scream'.
I live on the East Kent coast, 8 miles from Dover in a town called Deal.
While on Deal pier I overheard an extremely ugly conversation regarding migrants. A few have made it across the channel recently, and the reaction by certain members of the community suggests that the vile propaganda trotted out has worked a treat.
This is Munch's 'Scream', the ultimate in paranoia and anxiety, relocated to Deal pier. The Border Force gunship, which patrols the Channel, appears in the background. There's also a dinghy on the beach for good measure
