About The Artwork

The SLUG project includes 5 sculpture installations : The Pastadont, The Clamosaur, The Lycrodon The Wormorapsis and The Slugopotamus. The core of the project is an imaginary species. Giant amorphous creatures whose evolution took place in reverse order. From highly developed organisms in the distant past they turned into inorganic matter. It is supposed that this was the only way they could survive. The paradox is that surviving, they in fact ceased to exist in the biological sense. more at http://slugs.artinyan.net
