During a recent trip to Israel this painting was inspired by the ancient city of Tzfat, a combination of an artist community and Chasidic Jews living side by side in this beautiful old place. I hope those who view this painting will get a feel for this place incredible place as well as enjoy the work visually.

After a 40-year career in the corporate world I retired in order to return to my earlier endeavors in the creative arts; including painting, drawing and writing. When I was in high school, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I began creating art works. This continued through college. Once I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee I entered the business world and shortly thereafter began raising my family. As a result I completely stepped away from my creative side. Now, as planned, I work on something creative essentially every day.
