ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired by the marine feeling of Frank Gehry's architectural designs. I wanted to communicate a feeling of being whisked away to a mysterious place. I have been interested in architecture as a metaphor for the fragility of man made plans and projects for quite a while. We feel the solidity of the architectonic elements but there is a dark, foreboding sky beyond it.
