Lately I've been taking my inspiration for subject matter from images served up to me by Pinterest. In this one I'm not sure why the woman has a peacock on her shoulder, but maybe it's her daemon (as in His Dark Materials which is on TV at the moment). She's very elegant and colourful, so a peacock would be a good daemon for her. I have my own daemon - a 'black smoke' cat called Smokey Joe. His fur looks glossy and black, but when you ruffle it you find that it's silver-grey nearer to his skin. I wonder what that says about me ;-)
