An American historical business is the pink elephant car wash. It is a landmark in the Coachella Valley, CA since 1966. It is the inspiration for this painting: “Talkn’ ‘bout the Pink Elephant Car Wash”. The signage is retro to me, and is a statement in the large desert sky. The colors were chosen to continue the retro ambiance. The massive clouds indicate a rainstorm has just passed through. The worker at the left raises his cleaning cloth letting the motorist know the car is completed. He appears to be looking at you the viewer of the painting to draw you into the scene. Painting has a 1 inch black floater frame. The painting has a wire on the back ready for hanging. Includes a Certificate Of Authenticity with a hidden one of a kind watermark is included.
