Tan Lines and Regrets Painting

Janelle Schneider is a multi-disciplinary visual artist who lives and maintains her studio practice in the Portland, Oregon area. Mainly self taught, she has been painting using oils and acrylics most of her life. She graduated from PNCA with a BFA in Graphic Design. Her working methods combine a variety of digital tools with traditional methods and mediums. Janelle’s current paintings are figurative expressions of the human condition past and present, exploring the symbolism of the absurdities and dissonances in our contemporary world. Janelle’s work has shown in the Pacific Northwest, San Francisco Bay and L.A. areas and is held in private collections worldwide.
