About The Artwork
This dynamic triptych is based on walks through parks with lush undergrowth. I enjoyed the challenge of each piece and making them all work together, like chapters in one story. Most of this is painted with rags and my fingers (painters gloves on!). It is much more visceral and painterly without being pretentious. The texture is rich, which oils generously allows. Each painting section is 20" high by 24" wide.
