About The Artwork
This Indigenous inspired design comes from my desire to connect to my Indigenous heritage and allow it to come out in my art. I love working on wood and did this painting as part of a series including “Warm Embrace”. If you’d like to see this piece in person, both of these pieces will be on exhibit at the Sooke Fine Arts Show 2022 which will run from July 22-August 1st.
