I have simply always got tremendous satisfaction from the act of painting or watching something materialize on a blank canvas. I've been creating art for the last 15 years. The medium I enjoy working with is acrylics, oil, and will improvise as I create. Am base out of Southern California. Am a self-taught artist that have developed my own style of creating industrial backgrounds and something of nature to come together to present a vision. I guess that like a musician, creating art can transport you to another world and for my own part this has become a very addictive but rewarding ritual. When I am in my painting, I'm not aware of what I'm doing. It is only after a sort of "get acquainted" period that I see what I have been about. I have no fears about making changes, destroying the image, because the painting has a life of its own. Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom.
