Mimi has been an artist and painter for over 60 years. Now residing in Payson, AZ, she has returned to her fine art roots by exploring traditional mediums. Mimi has always infused art and creativity into her life. As a child growing up in Colorado and California, she couldn’t help drawing on the end-sheets of her school textbooks (much to the chagrin of her teachers!). As she matured, her creativity expressed in more acceptable ways. Her teachers’ distress turned to delight when Mimi found ways to integrate drawing, painting, and other mediums into her academic work that didn’t include “redesigning” school property! As an adult, Mimi was a pioneer in the video game industry and spent 35+ years creating characters, animations, and interactive interfaces, including the first Atari Mario Brothers game. A veteran in the trade, her accomplishments helped pave the way for video game entertainment. She worked with industry leaders such as Atari, Accolade, Apple, Sega of America, Lucas Learning, and Cisco Systems and was a 'hands on' part of the digital art and design evolution. Mimi lives in the northern Arizona forest with her husband and two dogs. She is creating art that enlivens her spirit and feeds her soul. ------- Mimi has been an artist and pioneer in the video game industry and spent 35+ years creating characters, animations.
