About The Artwork
The inspiration of this artwork was to represent the soul's journey, as it breaks thorough the different veils of illusion. The soul arrives as a bundle of energy. As it descends to the dense Earthly layers it manifests with a body, a vessel that supports its existence on Earth, becoming a human being. This human start experiencing the world, feeling like a victim. When he.she realises that it's possible to take some control by taking responsibility for his / her actions the first veil falls. The second veil disappears with the light bulb moment of there is more to the world then physical reality. Then we learn to experience unconditional love, so the third, Pink veil is gone... There is a little baby in the large bubble, starting her earthly life. The Red woman is the VICTIM, the Yellow one represents the EGO and the Pink one is the HIGHER SELF. The 4th veil is falling away, when we work with animals and nature. The 5th one disappears, when we learn work with the Angelic Realm. The 6th veil dissolves when we accept that everything is connected, so we reach Universal consciousness. The 7th veil is only cleared after death, when we pass over and it takes us to the 7th dimension. (Diana Cooper) So my painting shows both our arrival on Earth, fast downward movement and the journey we take to climb our mountain of self- and spiritual development to break through our own limitations, to work through our very own challenges, changing our perceptions of the world and learning about our own energy setup, I. E. who we are, why we came here, and using our skills to fulfil our purpose. Finally shifting back from duality (Yin and Yang) to oneness by climbing the Stairway to Heaven. Which I incorporated as the headpiece of Buddha, who I used as a representation of all is connected.
