''I paint and I draw stories''. "Mademoiselle Solenn" (Solenn Amardeil) also known under the pseudonym "sistasila" was born in France, the Lot, in 1982 and grew up in Toulouse. She comes from a family of artists. Her father Olivier Amardeil is also a painter, as well as on her mothers side of the family, there are ancestors who were great artists. Even marking the history of Brittany. It can be said that she inherited their artistic fiber. Solenn began to draw at an early age. At 2 years old she entered her fathers studio wishing to participate putting her "personal touch" on things which made her father furious. However, he was still delighted that his daughter wanted to follow his steps. Solenn draws nearly every chance she gets and it doesn't matter where. She had difficulty learning and reading by traditional methods, as a result she learned by illustrating stories. At age 12, her father enrolled her in the Beaux Arts of Toulouse for art lessons. At the age of 17 she exhibited some creations in a fashion shop and would go on to make an exhibition with her father as well. Next, she would study classic curriculum, Get her bachelors in literary arts (plastic arts option). After that, She studied graphic design and worked with her father on construction sites as a decorative painter. This would lead to her discoveries of painting on fabrics which then lead to painting her own t- shirts which she now has in a shop for sale. Next, she would go to Paris creating numerous hand painted t-shirts for different music artists. In 2011 she decided to take a trip to New York. During that trip she would meet again the legendary graffiti artist TKid 170 ,that she met first time at the MacKrew workshop in Bagnolet ,Paris. She realized a T-shirt that would be a good fit for his style, and he offered one of his artwork to her. her creations. While in NY She has taken numerous meetings about her work including with Craig Anthony Miller who is a painter at a gallery he owns in DUMBO Brooklyn. Solenn continued to work on orders, t-shirts, album covers and more for international artists. In 2012 she took a trip to Los Angeles to meet Mac Lucci an artist produced by Rapper Snoop Dogg, with whom she has created links for since 2011 and has also painted him a t-shirt. To thank and honor her friendship, he made her a beautiful song that she listens to during moments they would spend together.
