AATMICA OJHA Abstract Expressionist Artist | Philanthropist | Art Educator | Emotional Wellness Mentor | Motivational Speaker Aatmica Ojha is an abstract expressionist artist from Murray, Utah, whose work is deeply intertwined with social causes and emotional healing. Born in 1989, her passion for art emerged early—she was creating greeting cards for friends by the age of four. Aatmica holds a BS in Fashion & Apparel Design with distinction from Bangalore University, India. She worked for two years as an in-house designer at a fashion boutique, refining her design sensibility before returning in 2016 to her first love—painting—embarking on a full-time artistic journey that bridges creativity, compassion, and community. Aatmica believes in the transformative power of art as both a medium of self-expression and a force for positive change. She has exhibited her work in India and internationally, including with Artsy, USA in “Women Artists to Watch” (2022) and the Affordable Art Fair, Singapore (2017). Her work explores emotional healing, color psychology, and the power of inclusion and unity. Her commitment to philanthropy runs deep. Aatmica is associated with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) U.S. & Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) India - where she donates 50-100% of her sale proceeds. Her artworks are in the private collection of Taj Hotels, India. Her piece “Heart of Hope”—dedicated to breast cancer awareness—is exhibited at Intermountain Hospital, Riverton, Utah. Over the past decade, she has supported cancer patients, differently-abled artists, neurological-disease survivors, and underserved youth through fundraising exhibitions and art donations. Deeply committed to community engagement, Aatmica leads the Art Literacy Program & Together We Are Stronger - Collaborative Art Program at Viewmont Elementary School, Murray, Utah. In addition, she has juried multiple art contests & participated in live painting demonstrations. She also hosts workshops focused on mental health. Her solo art exhibition, “Taming Emotions Through Art – An Immersive Art & Healing Experience,” accompanied by a four-session workshop series, was hosted by the Bountiful Davis Art Center, Bountiful, Utah - January to March 2026.
