ABOUT THE ARTWORK

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

I was inspired by the color of Andy Vorhal's painting - Electric Chair, which I saw in Stockholm. That's why I used these two shades of green and red in this work. And the church is only our attitude - to ourselves, to architecture, to art.

Hi, I am Zoja Golubeva — multidisciplinary artist with a passion for nature and human bodies I am captivated by the beauty of nature, finding it in the most ordinary of things. Through my paintings, I strive to capture emotions—landscapes and still lifes reflect my soul. I am endlessly fascinated by the faces, movements, and characters of people, and so I paint portraits and figurative compositions with true passion. I am always eager to discover new forms of artistic expression, methods, and techniques, experimenting with various materials—paper, wood, metal, elements from nature, and plastic. My works are born as reflections on the world around me; they mirror my inner world, bearing witness to my feelings and experiences. At times, I feel a profound solitude, sharpened by the ambient sounds that surround me, amplifying this sense to its deepest core. Art, for me, is a dialogue—both with the world and with myself. It draws me in to create, to express, and to savor this creative journey. In both the present and the future, it is essential to continue this conversation, stirring the deepest emotions through expressive form and relevant themes, preserving a fuller, more profound emotional life.
