ABOUT THE ARTWORK
People with big imaginations inspired the work. I'm working on a larger series of giant animals adapting to human environments. Mother goose from the motherland, this goose's got her eggs hidden about and I left her some grass to nibble on. Don't forget to take a look at the rocky mountains in the curtains there and I embedded my signature in her feathers. I hope viewers will have as much fun looking at it as I did painting, I really like painting. All 4 sides of the painting are painted and therefore does not require a frame. Painting comes complete with hangy wire and ready for your enjoyment!

Artist Statement: Art is an exploration of my everyday experience as a human being. I enjoy developing connections with others, connections of a particular kind. I explore the strange, the unusual and the fantastical. My art has also been described as a splash of wit, a sprinkle of social commentary, a dash of humour and a bucket load of fun. Artist Biography: Lisa Ng was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As a child she immediately held an interest in being a poet of sorts. She attended the Dundas Valley School of Art and graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Lisa considers herself a self-taught artist. She gets inspired by people. Lisa Ng has won numerous awards including those from the Scarborough Arts Council and the Artist's Network of Riverdale and has received positive reviews from both the Globe and Mail and NOW Magazine. Lisa Ng is also the Rogue Leader of The Spooky Astronauts Drawing Club and a friend of Pablo Jueves. Lisa Ng makes art everyday.
