Johan de Champs (1959) , born in the Netherlands in Velsen (near to Amsterdam) is an artist who is working with mixed media on canvas, wood and synthetic illustration paper.
Most of his paintings are colorful realistic art with subjects like wildlife, flowers, portraits.
Also commission paintings are a possibility for interested clients who would like to have something personalized.
After he had great personal teachers, like half-native American Sun-Bear Espinoza (1935 - 1999), Johan went to Institut für Ausbildung in bildender Kunst ( Art school In Bochum, Germany).
Later he traveled to the USA to visit Dru Blair’s School of Art in North Carolina.
With exhibitions in the Netherlands and the gallery Art & Frame who was selling exclusively his art, Johan decided to move to Spain and beside being busy as a musician (saxophone) he started making art again in Spain and having exhibitions.

Johan de Champs (1959), nacido en los Países Bajos en Velsen (cerca de Ámsterdam) es un artista que trabaja con técnicas mixtas sobre lienzo, madera y papel de ilustración sintético.
La mayoría de sus pinturas son arte colorido y realista con temas como la vida salvaje, las flores y retratos.
También las pinturas por encargo son una posibilidad para los clientes interesados que deseen tener algo personalizado.
Después de tener grandes maestros personales, como Sun-Bear Espinoza (1935 - 1999), medio nativo americano, Johan fue al Institut für Ausbildung in bildender Kunst (Escuela de arte en Bochum, Alemania).
Posteriormente viajó a Estados Unidos para visitar la Escuela de Arte de Dru Blair en Carolina del Norte.
Con exposiciones en los Países Bajos y la galería Art & Frame que vendía exclusivamente su arte, Johan decidió mudarse a España y además de estar ocupado como músico (saxofón) comenzó a hacer arte nuevamente en España y a tener exposiciones.
