The Boundaries of Desire by patdumez (2022) A young woman in the grip of desires that the body and its jewels cannot seem to satisfy. Focused on herself, the body offered as a spectacle and the gaze introverted. It is a nervous painting, to create on the canvas this portrait of a woman in movement, with its fast and blurred touch. Like a comedy, a tragic opera. She turns her head to the side. Her ear is adorned with a pearl, one imagines precious stones around her cleavage. The scenery is sober, chiaroscuro. This portrait of a woman represents an intangible moment. A desire, a dream... a limit.
