Raymond Ezra was born in London but grew up in Madrid. He went to British schools at first and then adopted the Spanish system at the age of ten. His mother, Beryl, was an artist, and this influenced his early development. Raymond Ezra returned to the UK in 2000 where he also works in education. At present, he lives with his wife in Hull, England.
