The Cathedrals beach (pop, impressionism, seascape, beach) Painting

This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, or listening to music. This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise. For me, the beaches are not only summer and fun, but also openness, freedom, horizons to discover and especially a source of resources, a means of communication and exchanges between different cultures. The shapes of the cliffs have given this beach its name. They resemble the large glass windows, vaults and flying buttresses of Gothic cathedrals. This work talks about how nature always serves as an inspiration, in this case, architectural. This particularity of its rocks makes it different: having these holes and spaces made as if by magic. This seems to me to be one of the most important facets of art: being able to travel without moving, visiting these places with our imagination and being able to see things that perhaps if we really visited those places we would not see because we are probably busy with other topics. ... but also enjoying the joy of colors, the feeling of freedom, reflecting... and even bringing the smell of algae and the sea to our noses. Gaudí and other modernist artists were also inspired by Nature (it always was like that and still is today). And so, on this beach, it seems that the colors produced by the light passing through the stained glass windows of the cathedral have spilled onto the rocks (or people's faces). No frame is needed, but it is recommended.
