The Decline of the American Empire Painting

Born in Brantford,Ontario,Canada and currently living and painting in Suwon,South Korea. Art is a way of life. I feel my way through, with my art as witness to where I have been. Wandering through streets of foreign lands, surrounded by languages I cannot comprehend, my solitude among noises grows until it takes shapes and becomes enriched with colors. I encapsulate once anonymous names and faces, experiences with a tint of loneliness, and thoughts that cross the past, present, and future with paint. I paint with desperation to feel, and to extend the moment. It is my addiction that I hungrily crave, the imperative that drives me. With graphic influences from my commercial work fused in my fine art, I merge both worlds, as they are merged in me. They both are completion of my cultural diversity. I subtly spice both worlds with my multi-cultural experiences.
