Exploring painting in an archeological sense, discovering layers that compose it. Utilizing the pieces in a reversible way, by deconstructing and fragmenting to create a residual image (an afterimage) that conveys dynamically an intention. Acrylic is the medium that best fits to expresses my concept. However, I also work with colored pencils, pastels, pens and markers, or what I find available. I have always been a collector of collections. I collect remnants of paint and classify them, knowing that at a certain point in my career they will be involved in my creation. I rely on the process of adding, removing and altering the surface.
