"The Fisherman´s wife" Painting

In my paintings, I explore the profound and often inscrutable connections that exist between us and the world we inhabit. I am consistently fascinated by the intimacy of the human experience – how we embrace shapes, beings, and moments, and how these interactions are etched deep into our souls.

My work attempts to make the invisible visible: the emotional threads that tie us to nature, to animals, and to each other.






I often draw from personal experiences and observations, as well as from wider social and cultural contexts, to depict the diverse range of emotions that women experience in different situations and stages of life. Through my work, I aim to convey the universality of these emotions, as well as the individuality of each living being.

My use of oilcolors on canvas allows me to create rich and textured surfaces that add depth and dimension to my figures, adding to the overall emotional impact of my artwork. The interplay of light and shadow, color and form, and the intricate details in my paintings are carefully crafted to evoke a sense of intimacy and connection with the viewer.
