VIEW IN MY ROOM
Painting, Acrylic on Wood

Ships in a Crate
In this piece I used Acrylic paint, charcoal and Sumi Ink on a 48" x 60" beaded wood board. I incorporated a fragment of a poem by Julio Cortazar one my favorite authors. I'm exploring different mediums like beaded wood boards because I feel it adds a texture element and a rustic feel to this kind of work that is very powerful, and it contributes to the street art , Neo-expressionism style that I've been exploring lately. I'm sure the viewers will appreciate the rawness and visual impact of this piece Contemporary Original painting, acrylics on beaded wood board Handpainted. Original, not print. Painting is signed in front and at the back. Dated. I use a gloss varnish to add shine and to protect the painting from harmful UV rays and dust.
