The gods are dead. It is a piece inspired by the Vaporwave aesthetic, a visual and musical style that emerged in the mid-2010s as a meme. It combines elements of pop culture, such as pastel colors, advertising, and Japanese characters first seen in the movie "The Matrix," along with Greek statues. In today's world, we are alienated and completely disconnected from others, yet connected to the internet. The new objects of worship have become those ancient Greek statues. A new digital space has emerged, but we have become blind, and so have the gods.
