The Grabber Painting

The Grabber is based on the toy grabbers you find at the funfair. Do you remember seeing the toy grabber claws as a child? The boxes all lined up rammed full of the latest toy- lights flashing, music blaring out enticing you in to have a go and "WIN" the toy of your dreams. Can you remember putting your pocket money into the grabber to try and win the biggest toy in the machine only to find it was too wedged in and impossible to grab with the claw? The claw swaying to and fro waiting for its next victim after you had lost. I loved these games and still do to be honest. The anticipation and excitement that you could win a toy with only 20p was too much for me as a child. We never had much money as children so to think we could have the most up to date soft toy was brilliant. Pocket money was saved up or weeks before our annual holiday and I always spent my money 20p on a grabber.
