Hesione Pronoia, a daughter of Oceanus and wife of the Titan, Prometheus, who created humanity from clay and defied the gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity as civilisation. Zeus had Prometheus chained to Mount Kaukasos where an eagle (probably Zeus himself) ate his liver everyday as punishment. He was later released by Herakles.

She was one of the three thousand Okeanides (Oceanids)  goddess nymphs who presided over the sources of earth's fresh-water.

She was a goddess of foreknowledge and foresight.

The Prometheus story is often portrayed in art, but I decided to feature on the role of Hesione, bravely trying to fight off Zeus in the form of an eagle, and leave the bound Prometheus out altogether.
