ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a piece from my current series "The Book as Canvas". The title called to mind Munch's "The Scream" into which I have incorporated one of my frequent themes--the evolution of mankind. I often depict the close connection between man and ape as a reminder that humans are not as far up the evolutionary ladder as presumed.
