I am Chaitali, born in India near Shantiniketan at the vicinity of Visva Bharati University founded by great poet Rabindranath Tagore. My childhood in Bengal was filled with the ultimate aroma of art and culture. There is art everywhere in the air, the art is in my heart since my childhood. With my father I stayed in different parts of Bengal and attended preliminary classes of art when I was in my nursery days.Later in my life most of my time I was involved with conventional studies like all other middle class girl in our country. The art was remained within me unnoticed. After the completion of my master degree in literature I got married and helped my family directly and indirectly to grow up and helped them to cherish their dreams and goals. Among all my happiness I always missing something that is my passion about my art and painting and unconditional love for it. During all these years whenever I took the pencil,I created something magical (as the feedback received from my critics/my well wishers). Then I became mother and another big responsibility was in my life, still holding my passion in my heart and rarely on the paper. After few years, when my child is being started independent,I hold the pencil & brush back and hold them so tightly and doesn't want to leave till my death. I have realised that the art is my worship.Everyday when I sit to draw, my heart starts dancing with music of joy, the way I used to enjoy during my childhood. The Art is my life, my passion and now I don't let any day to pass without creating something new with my brush.I can not thank God enough for making me understand the purpose of my life. I want to create something new, want to attempt more challenging endeavours to learn and grow every new day. Living life in this note so that a better Chaitali emerges with each sunrise.
