120 x 90 cm acrylic on canvas 2020 Görkem Dikel The painting depicts a breathtaking snowy morning in the northern hemisphere. The colors used in the painting are primarily red and pink, creating a warm and fantastic ambient that seems to be straight out of a fairy tale. The first thing that catches your eye is the vibrant red hue of the sky, which is reflected in the snow-covered ground below. The trees and foliage in the painting are outlined in various shades of pink, as if they have been delicately dusted with snow. In the distance, you can see a small village, also covered in a blanket of snow, adding to the magical feeling of the painting. The overall effect of the painting is one of warmth and enchantment, as if you have stumbled upon a secret, magical world. The use of red and pink in the painting creates a cozy feeling, despite the snowy landscape, and gives the painting a dreamlike quality. You can almost imagine yourself standing there in the snow, surrounded by the peaceful silence of the morning, with the fairy figure as your guide into this fantastical world.
