Ferdinando Ambrosino is a painter and sculptor from Naples, in Italy. Over his long artistic career he has been successfully exhibiting his work throughout Europe, USA, and South America, generating great interest from the public and art critics alike, for his unique and original painting style and artistic projects, like the ‘Mediterranean Icons’, and the most recent ‘From Cumae to Pompeii’, inspired by the archaeological heritage of Campania region, and Southern Italy. Among his most celebrated exhibitions are a major solo exhibition at the Chelsea Art Museum of New York, in 2009, a retrospective at the Royal Palace of Naples, in Italy, in 2005, with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, and a solo exhibition at the Archaeological Museum of Antibes, France, in 1992.
