ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Caution: this artwork is real painted and is not digitally assisted or computer printed! "The Queen's Grapevine House", 2021/23, (golden, fluorescent acrylic, gold leaf on canvas), 60x40cm. Painted outdoors and finished in the studio of Cracow, PL... #Vasilendiuc (…) The simple forms, but not simplified, realize a state of dialogue and a specific vibration between us and the image. Through all is doing, Serge Vasilendiuc promotes a revealing metaphor in which the accent is set upon the spiritual not the aesthetic issue. The conception of his works is a mineral and cosmic one, it is underlined by the fight between angular and complex, a vegetal becoming of the forms. The artist adds to the avant-garde of the beginning of the century a specific eos. One in a sense of light... A colored light which determines us to reach the conclusion, that the artist has discovered the interface between a tumultuous past and the present... (Alexandra Rus)
