Inspired by my background in fashion patter making and couture, my work often has sculptural attributes but is born out of the traditions of craft and language of painting and drawing with emphasis placed on the process of making and colour theory.
During my processes of creation I like to explore diferent paint mediums, materials and ways of manipulation of any element (pigments, mosaics, metals, fabrics, yarns, organic fibres) transforming those elements in sculptures or artwork's and make them look like other materials and constructing new processes for the application of paints, creating a collaboration between my own desires and those of the materials.
