His artistic journey began informally before completing secondary school when he enrolled as a trainee in Computer Engineering and Graphic Design at Sunny Computer Institute in Oyo town. During his training, Olakunle met a Fine Art student who introduced him to drawing and sculpting with clay. This encounter sparked a profound passion for art, inspiring him to pursue it with unwavering dedication. Olakunle's commitment to his artistic journey grew stronger as he pursued formal education in art at the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education (now Emmanuel Alayande University of Education) in Oyo, where he specialized in Painting and Ceramics, graduating in 2016. As an artist, Olakunle Ayoola specializes in portraying the intrinsic beauty and multifaceted nature of black heritage through his paintings.
