Painted with palette knives and brushes, acrylic paints, oil pastels, and pencil. The overall abstract design is actually a mezuzah and includes symbolism of tefillin as well which represents the text "bind them as a sign on your hand and let them serve as a symbol on your forehead, inscribe them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." The words "Shema Yisrael" in Hebrew, as well as "echad," meaning "one"; "x3" because the prayer is recited three times a day. The Shema is the centerpiece of the daily morning and evening prayer services and is considered by some the most essential prayer in all of Judaism. Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Edges are painted white. Ready to hang. Includes Certificate of Authenticity.
