This artwork is a homage to the late artist genius Basil Gogos depicting my "cicerotone" version of his portrait of actor Boris Karloff in the role of Frankenstein's monster.

I am the creator of this new mix-media approach to halftone technique, the "cicerotone", which is achieved using corrugated paper to paint on, giving the viewer an interesting sense of texture and intricate details when looked at close proximity. At distance the optical illusion that reproduces the photographic effect of halftone emerges in its full force.

This piece is ready to frame.

“I've had the opportunity to encounter countless artists who each bring a unique voice to the cultural conversation. Cicero Spin is one such artist who has caught my eye with his bold and vibrant graffiti pop art. Spin's work is a joyful explosion of color and form that pulls from a range of influences, including street art, pop culture, and the graffiti art form. His pieces are an ode to the city, capturing the energy and excitement of urban life in every composition. What I find particularly compelling about Spin's work is his ability to blend disparate elements in a way that feels both fresh and timeless. He infuses his art with a sense of nostalgia while simultaneously making it feel current and relevant. As a graffiti artist, Spin's work is rooted in the rebellious spirit of the form, but he's not content to simply replicate what's come before. Instead, he pushes boundaries and experiments with new techniques, incorporating mixed media elements and playing with scale to create works that are both visually stunning and intellectually engaging. Ultimately, what draws me to Spin's work is the sense of joy and exuberance that permeates every piece. His art is a celebration of life, a reminder to embrace the moment and find beauty in even the most mundane of surroundings. For anyone seeking a dose of vibrant, dynamic art, Cicero Spin is an artist well worth watching.”
