About The Artwork

‘Enrich your soul, and it will enrich your life’ – seldom do we adhere to this oft-repeated notion. The success and longevity we crave is directly dependant on the positive flow of energy through our body – we attract luck and prosperity when we are happier from the inside as well. This piece aims to help us pause ... to recollect the last instance when we did something for our spiritual well-being, and not just physical well-being. We need to constantly remind ourselves to do this for our own good. The colour chosen here – yellow – stimulates mental activity that draws energy from our soul – our essence.

Spherical Thoughts Gallery & Studio Royal Tunbridge Wells, England AnilKumar (AK) is an India born British artist who had a desire for art from his childhood. After his bachelors in Mechanical engineering from CUSAT (2000), India, he pursued an MBA from Bradford University, School of Management (2011), UK. He rediscovered his love for art in 2012 and by 2015 he followed his passion, and now devotes his full time in art, exploring and developing his creative passions. He believes 'Art is all about capturing a phenomenon and then using colours to bring it to life as if it is talking to you. Above all Art should bring a smile, a thought, and to make the confusion and chaos around us a little more palatable.' His artworks include large bold acrylics, watercolour miniatures & ink illustrations. He is also a published author - The Bulbs of London: The Chronicles of Orby, both written and illustrated by him.
