About The Artwork

The inspiration for this painting lies in the sea and the coast around my home on the East Coast of Scotland; the edge of the water, the cliffs, and the sounds of the gulls flying overhead. The painting is Acrylic on Panel. The panel has a wooden structure on the reverse which allows the painting itself to 'float' half an inch from the wall.
