This painting is framed in Raw Tasmanian Oak. Good and bad surprises sometimes pop up together. 2020 brought a lot of wild curveballs, but there were some beautiful surprises too. Like that people can connect over cultures and distances with songs from balconies, and love in the form of food parcels. That families can start bonding because we're not rushing to useless activities any more. That people can actually cook and be happily fat during lockdown! The best surprise for me was to be able to have time to look inward and get clarity on what is most important to me and what is unnecessary nonsense.
