This painting was based on an old photo from a magazine discovered many years ago. I chose this particular size and medium to create a small series of intimate portraits.Six paintings exist in this series. The style is representative of larger works I have done in the past.

A native of Southern Calif, Pamela Mower-Conner is both a fine artist and an illustrator. She received her BA and MA from Calif State University, Fullerton, and has drawn and painted since early childhood. Her artworks are prominently featured in the home of Emmy award winning actress,CCH Pounder. Mower-Conner has also shown at Fischer Gallery, USC, Insa Art Center, Seoul, South Korea, Orange County Center for Contemporary Arts, Mark Zoeller Gallery, Santa Fe, NM, Angel’s Gate Cultural Center, Long Beach, Gallery 825 Annex, Bergamot Station, Quad Gallery, Riverside City College, La Luz de Jesus Gallery, and Pounder/ Kone Art Space.
