ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by watching and reading about anglo-saxon and the medieval warrior culture in Britain. I was going to call it 'the cross', but felt 'The Warrior was more apt. I liked the strong black lines in this, and felt that the gold and silver really shone and perhaps signify the importance of ornate metal work in that time. The bright red tiny painting was a little warmth to contrast with the stark black large abstract.
