This painting represents the beautiful Caffarella Valley,
which is located in Rome, Italy, and it's one of the biggest green lungs of the city. The Park hosts the Almone, the river the ancient Roman citizens considered holy, and it still crosses the heart of the park.
The point represented is one of the water springs with a bench facing the nature.
Especially during this pandemic year, the park has been my special place where I was able to find my carefreeness, an oasis of peace and serenity.
"The water pathway" is my homage to this beautiful park, and this painting wants to give the observer the feeling of peace, the same I have when I take a seat on that bench.

The painting comes with the hanger on the back of the canvas. Certificate of Authenticity is also provided.

Alice Asnaghi was born in Desio (MB), Italy. She graduated in 2002 from the Brera Art High School and later attended the School of Illustration and Graphic Design in Milan, obtaining her diploma as an illustrator in 2005. Her artistic research is focused on the connection between humans and nature and the enhancement of the environment. Her first exhibition dates back to 2016 on the occasion of the Contemporary Art Triennial of Verona, followed by numerous participations in exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Alice experiments with an original language that combines two very different aspects of nature representation. On one hand, the artist seeks a realism that reflects the authenticity of the ecosystem, depicting specific species and essences; on the other hand, there is an almost fairy-tale, magical interpretation that transports the natural world into a painted vision "not only with the eyes but also with the soul." Her acrylic works on canvas, create compositions with visual cuts that reflect a close connection with her photographic experience. In these landscapes, the artist feels herself transforming into nature itself, changing her own dimension to embark on a journey in a natural space during which she infuses her emotions into the painting.
