The beauty in the mind of someone living Painting

“The beauty in the mind of someone living”, painted in acrylic, 90 x 160 cm, 2014, marks a period of my transition as an artist, in which abstract paintings begin to gain importance in my works. Over the paint I added newspaper sheets from the economics and finance, providing texture to the artwork. Words like "beauty", "mind" was written with charcoal and pastel. The year 2014 was to me a phase in which the contemporary production of art woke up questions about the importance of art in people's daily lives and the sentiment generated by watchers and collector For more than a decade, SAFE Art has been using free and spontaneous brushstrokes to create a language of its own, whose central objective is to capture on screen the spontaneous beauty of art as an object of contemplation. São Paulo based artist, SAFE Art (b.1979) has been developing his unique style over the past years.Self-taught artist, he is heavily influenced by japanese woodblock prints, expressionist artists like Monet and Cézanne, in his early career. His favorite contemporary artists include Damien Hirst, Ai WeiWei, Yayoi Kusama and the famous german artist Gerhard Richter.
