This work belongs to the "Circus" collection, the artist Diego Mendonça paints the artists of the circus that visited his hometown, this work has a particularity in its allegory: "The clown paradox"... the sad look of the clown allows us to understand like clowns, who are masters of joy, are deprived of the sadness that the world brings to our soul, as the writer Paulo Macedo says: << The clown always puts on his makeup, a smile on his face, to make people laugh and feel feel happy, but no one sees the clown's sad face when he comes home, takes off his makeup and cries because he doesn't have anyone to make him laugh...>> . By appreciating this work, the author hopes that the observer can understand that no one in the world is deprived of sadness, not even the clown, so regardless of their status, it will be inevitable in this world that they do not have it.
