This beautiful painting is done on a professional art board. It depicts the element of water, a surging wave crashing against the rocks. Tranquility from the color and inner fire from the content. I was inspired by the ocean so peaceful and raging at the same time.

I'm an artist! I-artist! I'm an artist!!!!...... And so this phrase went through my head a million times when I picked up a pencil or a brush, and every time I was like the famous Jane Eyre from Gone with the Wind, saying to myself "I WON'T THINK ABOUT THAT TODAY, I WILL THINK ABOUT THAT TOMORROW. I was born in the USSR in 1982 and just before Perestroika started and it was not an easy period for all the people living in the country. People weren't thinking about beauty, creativity, the beautiful, people were thinking about how to comprehend everything that was happening and how to adapt to the new life. My childhood and youth passed under the flags of different states, with different laws and different conditions of life. All this remained in me, layered like colors poured into a clear glass, all the colors are like a rainbow from the brightest to the calmest and only places pass gray, but still noticeable stripes - my rainbow-my soul. I started drawing in kindergarten and continued in the art studio at school. Dreams of being an artist were dispelled by the post-perestroika order, where you had to do business otherwise poverty and vagrancy, you have to sell to buy, you have to be a salesman. So I became a banker. I worked at the tax inspectorate and the bank. But I never left the colors, they have always been present in my life, they were in me, my rainbow. And now I've tried to be everything, anyone, I realized that I want and can be me! And I draw! I am an artist. I draw professionally, I write my emotions, my attitude to the world, my thoughts, my life in my paintings. Pour my rainbow on the canvas. On my canvases my childhood friends, just people I met on the road, I can transfer even the most dramatic story on the canvas with a subtle humor. My paintings are warm and kind, they are not blatant sex and religion in them is comfort and harmony, they have humor and irony. I paint with quality acrylics, use only linen sheets on natural wooden stretchers. I varnish all paintings for luster and durability. I like to paint large canvases so you can see every detail. I paint for myself, for you, for the universe. My rainbow is my soul is my painting.
