ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This work is inspired by the incessant conflicts that shake our world, from the war in Ukraine to the long list of conflicts around the world. I have in my mind all these young people who are sent to confront violence and death without forgetting to on the other side the child victims of these senseless wars. Both in one camp and in the other how these children and young people can face a reality of violence and horror. How a child survives the war, the disappearance of the parents, the vision of the dead and the horror. How in both sides these children and young people can face a reality of violence and horror. How to rebuild their stories,

I evolve from several years in the urban art world,  with a special visual style I feel more and more challenged by a socially involved militant mind, I speak it through my artworks which often have a controversial  and provoking context of society with a recurrent social and political message.  My work and my artistic way are strongly influenced by street art, and by its artistic approach  often with a strong social, even political message. In my artistic pursuit, I feel strongly challenged by these street artists and by their militant and committed state of mind. I find great inspiration in their plastic production, which frequently has a strong socially critical content, often ironic and with messages that invite us to reflect and analyze our society. I am inspired by  the street world and the urban culture not included in the traditional world of art. I love the critical connotations of urban art as their social and political aspects submitted to any academic concept. Even if my style continues to evolve I voluntarily place myself far from the art theories and academic discourse. I feel completely comfortable in the universe of urban art because  its roots are  the ordinary world and everyday reality. With a  social message and engaged context I would like to engage people emotionally and awaken collective awareness about society and the world.
